Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 9 Recap

In the previous episode, we saw that the episode started with a roasting battle between Mist Hashira Mucihiro and Fifth Upper Moon Gyokko. After waking from that water trap and remembering why he was there Muichiro was in his zone and was deliberately trying to provoke Gyokko so that he makes a mistake.

Muichiro said several harsh things to him while dodging multiple attacks from Gyokko but nothing reached him until he made fun of his art. Gyokko was not aware of Muichiro’s power at all and was thinking that he is just a little kid and there is no harm in playing around.

Well, this playful thing soon turned into a horror for him as Mucihiro used his mist powers and Gyokko was not even able to locate Muichiro’s location for once. Muichiro then put an end to Gyokko with a single hit.

Gyokko was powerful but never had the chance to show off his demon skills and the overwhelmingness also worked on him. On the other side, Tanjiro and others were still struggling against Hantengu. Genya was somehow able to keep himself safe.

After some attacks, Tanjiro was captured by the wood dragon and then it tried to crush Tanjiro. Mitsuri then arrived after finishing her business in the village and told them that she will take care of Hantengu and they can be at ease now.

Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba Season 3 Story

The story will start from chapter 98 with Kibutsuji Muzan who serves as the leader of all demons having a meeting with all the upper moons as one of them has been killed. Muzan summoned Akaza in the second season, alerting all other upper moons that they would be gathering in a single place after a very long period.
