In the last episode, we saw that Tanjiro was confused when he saw Genya in his demon-like form. He then analyzed the situation and figured out that they can not finish Hantengu like Gyutaro by severing all the heads simultaneously. Tanjiro then asked Genya why he looked like that and then asked him to take care of Nezuko.

Then he left to look for the other demon he was sensing in the woods. We then saw that the real Hantengu was like a rat and was very hard to locate. Genya tried two times to finish it off but was not able to do it and another demon was about to land a serious attack on Genya. We also saw Genya’s backstory in the episode.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6 Recap

In the previous episode, we saw that Genya was looking like a demon and that left Tanjiro confused. Then he decided to focus on the demons as Genya was still conscious even if he turned into a demon. Tanjiro then analyzed and figured out that these demons can’t be killed if their heads are severed simultaneously.

Tanjiro then focused his breathing and figured out that there was another demon hiding inside the forest. He then asked Genya to look after Nezuko and he left to find that demon. In the meanwhile, all the demons regenerated and started attacking again. Tanjiro then told Genya to go after the fifth demon.

Muichiro on the other side was still trapped inside the water. The demons were fearing Tanjiro as his speed and adaptability increased with time. Genya found the demon and it looked like a little mouse and Genya was not able to finish it off even after two attempts. He then sensed another demon just behind him and we saw his backstory.

We saw that his father was killed by someone and his mother raised Genya and Wind Hashira Sanemi along with many other siblings. One night his mother was attacked by demons and then she turned into a demon herself and attacked her own family. Only Genya and Sanemi survived the attack and Genya misinterpreted the situation as he thought that his brother killed their mother.

Genya only has one memory of his brother smiling. When Genya thought that he was about to get killed, Tanjiro appeared and saved him. Then Genya took a sphere attack directly that left Genya’s body in pieces but he can regenerate other parts of his body. Tanjiro will be going after the fifth demon now.

Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba Season 3 Story

The story will start from chapter 98 with Kibutsuji Muzan who serves as the leader of all demons having a meeting with all the upper moons as one of them has been killed. Muzan summoned Akaza in the second season, alerting all other upper moons that they would be gathering in a single place after a very long period.

We will see their characters and personalities in the series for the first time, but fans are most excited to see the number one Upper moon Kokushibo. The series is set in a world where demons roam the land and prey on humans, a young boy named Tanjiro sets out to become a demon slayer after his family is attacked and his sister is turned into a demon.
