Thorfinn has left Ketil’s farm for his home and in Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 24 he will be reuniting with his family after a very long time as he left home with his father when he was just a kid.
In the last episode, we saw that the discussion continued between Thorfinn and King Canute. Thorfinn reminded Canute about the world he wanted to create but Canute is different now. Canute then asked Thorfinn about what he is going to do if the King continues to capture farms all over the country and things like that.
Thorfinn said that he would simply run and he will run until he reaches someplace where the King can not reach him and then he will build that peaceful land. Canute carefully considered Thorfinn’s words and withdrew with his army. He also evoked his decision to attack any more farms.

In the previous episode, we saw that the discussion about what should be done and what Thorfinn would do if his terms are not accepted continued. Canute was still struggling and his father’s image said that Thorfinn is a dangerous man and should be killed this instant but Canute handled the situation carefully.
He asked Thorfinn’s intentions and what he is going to do if Canute do not withdraw his army. Thorfinn said he would run and will not stop until he reaches a place where even the King could not reach him. He then will build a land of peace. This discussion was very funny to Canute as he never had a discussion over peace before.
We then saw Thorgil finding that all the King’s ships had left the port and this was very unsatisfactory for him as his battle was still not complete. We then saw Canute in the sea and he dismissed his decision to capture farms. He asked his advisor about the decision and he also agreed with him.
Thorfinn and Einar then said their last goodbye to Arnheid. Then they left with Leif for Thorfinn’s homeland. Snake then told them his real name and that his name is Roald while they were leaving. Olmar then joined farm work with Snake and his soldiers. Thorfinn will be returning home soon.
