Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
In the previous episode, we saw that Geto was struggling with his identity and was facing mental health issues as he was disgusted with the work he had to do as a jujutsu sorcerer. He did not like the look of those spirits and he had to swallow them and that was not acceptable to him. He then encountered Yuki one time and talked to her about his condition. There were two ways to solve this.
The first one was to kill all the sorcerers so that the world would come to peace but that was a very difficult task The other way was to kill all the sorcerer people so that Jujutsu sorcerers could live in peace. After careful consideration of his own logic and reasoning, Geto decided to go with the second way,
It was reported by the principal to Gojo that Geto had killed 22 people on a site where a cursed spirit was reported and he was ordered to kill Geto by the orders of the elders. Gojo did not believe it at first but then went to confirm the thing with Geto himself. The thing turned out to be true and Geto was looking very cheerful while Gojo was not able to believe it. After that Geto disappeared in the crowd and the next episode will start the infamous Shibuya Incident Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen anime.
