Geto and Gojo are safe but Riko Amanai is dead and in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 5 things will never be the same as before as we saw the expressions of Gojo changing which was not expected by anyone.
In the last episode, we saw that after killing Gojo and Riko, Toji was about to fight against Geto. Geto was angry but was also in disbelief that Toji was able to kill Gojo. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
In the previous episode, we saw that Toji went after Riko after killing Gojo and then shot Riko in the head. Geto was assured that Gojo will take care of Toji and he was not able to process the fact that Gojo got defeated by Toji. Then Geto summoned his cursed spirits and launched them towards Toji but Toji was already prepared for the fight and slashed the cursed spirit into two.
Then Toji explained how his technique works and how he carries cursed tools despite having no cursed energy. Toji also said that Gojo was the only one who noticed his presence and he wanted to take him out from the first time he saw him. The fight went ahead and Toji overpowered Geto and slashed him.
He then said that avoided any fatal attacks as a precaution because the cursed spirits might get leaked and he would not want to deal with that. Things went to normal and Toji went to collect his reward but while returning he faced Gojo again. Gojo was able to save himself using the reversed curse technique but this time Gojo was in a pretty bad mood and went berserk on Tiji.
He used Color: Purple on Toji and this ended Toji’s life. At the last moments of his life, he remembered that he named his son Megumi and asked Gojo if he could do something about it.
