Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie has revealed a brand new trailer and revealed the voice actor behind the movie’s main protagonist Yuta Okkotsu.
With the release date of December 24th, 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie is months away from its arrival and fans can’t wait to see it in the theatres.
Adapted from the Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 0 manga and acting as the prequel to the present Jujutsu Kaisen universe, the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie will introduce us to Yuta Okkotsu and his curse Rika. Both of them play an important part in the story in the ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen storyline.

A brand new trailer of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie has been revealed.
In the trailer, the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen Movie Yuta Okkotsu and Rika Orimoto has been revealed with a cinematic spin showing the timelapse from Yuta’s connection with Rika from his childhood.
Yuta Okkotsu is also seen in the animated version for the first time since the announcement of the adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 0 manga into a movie.

A ring is being highlighted in the trailer, the ring which was given to Yuta by Rika in their childhood with a promise to marry each other when they grow up.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie Staff & Cast:
Megumi Ogata will be playing the role of Yuta Okkotsu in the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie.
Megumi Ogata is known for her brilliant performances as Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kurama in Yu Yu Hakusho, Hanako-Kun in Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun, and many more.
Sunghoo Park will be directing the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie at MAPPA. He also directed the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series.
Though the other staff and cast members of the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie are yet to be announced, the members from the anime should reprise their roles. We will update the article as soon as an official announcement is made.

The main staff from the Jujutsu Kaisen reprises their role in the upcoming prequel Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie.
JJK 0 Movie Character Designs:
The character designs of the four protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie have been released till now.
Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda are seen in their first year of Tokyo Jujutsu High’s appearance. While Panda has no difference in his appearance, Maki and Inumaki’s character designs had a major change in appearance, which have toned down in the present Jujutsu Kaisen universe.
Yuta Okkotsu’s character design has also been revealed.
We are yet to see the new character design of Satoru Gojo which was quite different from the present Jujutsu Kaisen universe. Suguru Geto’s character design is awaited too.
JJK 0 Movie Plot:
Yuta Okkotsu adored her childhood friend Rika Orimoto until she died in a car accident. Soon transforming into a cursed spirit, Rika haunts Yuta Okkotsu.
Not being able to control Rika from hurting others, Yuta wants to be killed after being apprehended by the Jujutsu Sorcerers.
But, Satoru Gojo assures Yuta that he can help others with the power if he learns to control it and thus enrolls into Jujutsu High School where he meets Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda.
Conclusion:
With MAPPA animating the upcoming JJK 0 Movie, the quality should be consistent and praise-worthy as already seen in the anime.
Though the staff behind the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie has not been announced, the core team of the anime should reprise their roles, as MAPPA wouldn’t want to hamper the flow and quality consistency of the franchise, keeping in mind that Jujutsu Kaisen is at the peak of the current Shonen universe.
