Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 1 took us back in time when Gojo and Geto were students at Jujutsu High. We saw the scene where Geto exorcised a cursed spirit and then turned it into a ball and swallowed it. He thinks this work is not good but he is doing it for the sake of other people. We then saw Mei Mei and Utahime on a mission where several disappearances had been reported in the past.

At first, they discovered that there were no cursed spirits but soon they realized that the hallway they were in all this time was a trap and they were moving in the same place all this time. Mei then asked Utahime for an explanation of the situation and Utahime explained it with a solution. They applied the thing and break the trap to find out Gojo, Geto, and Shoko were looking out for them.

The three are in the same class. Gojo is the same as in the past we have seen till now. The arrogance and superiority complex can be easily read from miles. They returned to school after the mission and Gojo was punished as they forgot something important. Geto and Gojo were about to get into a fight but the principal then sent them on a mission where they are to protect a high school girl.

Tengan will be assimilating that girl as he does after every 500 years to avoid any problems in the jujutsu society. The girl is Star Plasma Vessel and she is being targeted by two groups of bandits who are connected to Tengan in one way or another. The fight has already started and at the end, we saw Toji who will be joining the fight soon and will give Gojo and Geto a run for their money.
