In the last chapter, we saw that Naoya tried to hide and entered a room but he collapsed due to his serious injuries. Maki’s mother was right behind him with a knife in her hand. Naoya tried to escape by crawling but she killed him by stabbing him.

In the ending panels, Maki can be seen carrying Mai’s body. Momo saw them and started crying while holding Mai’s body and Maki just walked away.
