Carpaccio was about to pick up a fight with Mash in the previous chapter. Mash says that he has never met a person stronger than himself. The referee interferes, saying that they should save fighting for later. The 9 participants are then divided into 3 teams of 3 members each. Mash, dot, and Finn are on the same team. Lance is on the other team.

Each team is given three crystals, the members have to protect the crystals from the enemy team to win the round. Mash faces a problem while understanding the rules. Mash and Dot accidentally drop their crystals hence the only crystal remaining is Finn’s. Now the only way to win the round is by protecting Finn’s crystal.

All the players are teleported to different locations. Mash and Dot move to find Finn. Finn observes that Carpaccio is tormenting another player. Finn tries to hide but is finally found out by Carpaccio.
