The battle is far from over and we see more things about both fighters’ powers in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 227 as they expand their domains once again but with different things in their minds.

In the last chapter, we saw that Sukuna’s blade slashed Gojo but he was able to handle the attack. He then healed himself and balanced himself back. Higurama said that this slashing will continue as long as Gojo stays inside the domain of Sukuna. Choso said that Gojo can easily escape from there as there is no closed barrier around Sukuna’s domain.

Gojo was bound to not use his cursed technique as his domain got destroyed. Sukuna was laughing while he slashed all over Gojo’s body. Sukuna then switched to hand on hand battle so Gojo does not get a chance. Gojo was using reversed cursed technique to heal himself. He then thought that the shrine is the center of Sukuna’s domain but that is not true.

Yuji asked the same question and got a reply that if Gojo is not trying to destroy it that means it is useless to destroy it. There seemed no way out for Gojo but then suddenly he used ‘New Shadow Style: Simple Domain’. Yuji and others were surprised to see that attack. Kusakabe was confused.

Gojo stopped healing himself and he was focusing on attacking Sukuna. He then entangled Sukuna and Sukuna noticed that Gojo’s speed increased. Yuta realized that Gojo was not healing himself so that he could restore his cursed technique. Gojo then used ‘Cursed Technique Reversal: Red’ on Sukuna. Sukuna crashed into his shrine while Gojo healed himself.

• Gojo also opens his domain again and Kusakabe shouts if he is stupid or something.
• Ino is wondering if Gojo is trying to repeat the same thing again.
• Higurama then notices that Gojo has switched conditions both inside and outside of the domain.
• This means Gojo’s barrier is now strong against attacks from the outside.

• Sukuna’s punches have started to land on Gojo.
• He can use domain amplification while using his domain expansion.
• Gojo does not care but also notices that Sukuna’s must-hit effect is also off.
