Horimiya manga is a rom-com manga by HERO serialized in Square Enix‘s ‘Monthly G Fantasy‘ Magazine since 2011. Now, this popular manga series is getting a proper full anime adaptation. 4 OVA episodes have been released in the past but a full series was not made yet. We will discuss the Horimiya anime details we have received till now in this article.
Horimiya has already received an anime adaptation, but the adaptation was from the prequel manga Hori-san to Miyamura-Kun, which ran for a total of 4 original episodes aired between 2012 to 2018. The prequel anime series was made by studios Gonzo and Hoods Entertainment
Story
Kyouko Hori, a high school student who is intelligent and popular has been hiding his other self from others. Her parents are often busy with their work and have to travel a lot. So, she has to take care of his younger brother and do the housework.
Izumi Miyamura is an Otaku, but in reality, he is a good person with an interest in studying. He has nine piercings hidden in his hair and one tattoo on his back. These two oddballs cross paths accidentally and became friends. Now, they share a side they have never shown to anybody else.

Horimiya Anime Release Date
We have a fixed date now and we can see it in the second week of January. Horimiya anime episode 1 will air on 10th, January 2021. And after that weekly episodes will air on respective services.
With this announcement for January 2021, the winter season is off to a very good start. We are most probably going to see Attack on Titan Season 4 also in the January 2021 slot. The fans are very happy and eagerly waiting for the Horimiya anime to be released.

Studio
Horimiya anime is set to be adapted into anime by Cloverworks studio which is a subsidiary of Aniplex and a spun-off studio of A-1 Pictures. We can expect good animation quality as per recent works of Cloverworls studio.
Cloverworks studio has made some very good animes in the past. The past works of Cloverworks include – Promised Neverland, Darling in the FranXX, Fairy Tail, Rascal does not dream Bunny Girl Senpai, etc.
