Record of Ragnarok Chapter 85 reveals two important things. Loki is obsessed with Brunhilde and is planning something. Also, Buddha’s investigation of Seigfried led him to Odin and that soon turned into a fight. Read more about it in the spoilers section.

In the last chapter, we see that Apollo won the fierce battle against Leonidas. Apollo was also heavily injured and decided to not treat those wounds as an honor to his friend. The Spartans along with Kojiro Sasaki, Isamu Kondo, and Souji Okita were proud of Leonidas. Isamu and Okita died early and could not go to the battlefield like Leon and this is what they regret. Kondo called Leon a true samurai.

Brunhilde was worried as Gods were leading with five wins against four wins for the human side. Hilde wants to win the 10th Round at any cost but is confused about who to send next. The remaining fighters for the human side are Rasputin, Nostradamus, Simo Hayha, and Souji Okita. Okita and Kondo showed up to meet Hilde and Okita assured her that he would win the next round.

Hilde was not sure about this but she decided to go with Okita. Gods on the other side, were trying to wrap this up as soon as possible as they needed two more wins. Anubis who is a demi-human, dog-like character announced himself as the next fighter. But then Susanoo no Mikoto entered the scene and Anubis got shifted for the 11th Round which he will most probably fight against the deadly sniper Simo Hayha.

• The defeat of Leonidas was a huge blow for humans. God’s side is looking decent but the human side looks a little weaker in comparison.
• Nostradamus is the only one who is powerful and Hilde will be using him as a trump card.
• She is walking through a corridor but then Odin appears in front of her.
• Hilde is frightened for a moment as Odin tells him that the end of humanity is near.
• She then realized that it was Loki impersonating Odin.
• Loki then returns to his normal form and says that he came to save her as he stops her from leaving.
• He further adds that humanity’s end is near and she will be killed by Odin and he can save her.
• Hilde asks if he wants something in return and he replies that he wants nothing in return.

• Hilde then declines his offer saying that there is no point surviving alone.
• He then mentions Siegfried and Hilde stops and tells him that it has nothing to do with Loki.
• Loki realizes that she can go to any length to save humanity and Seigfried.
• Loki says that Seigfried is bound to get involved in this Ragnarok and she can’t save him alone.
• Loki returns to his room and we see a life-sized doll of Hilde.
• He is combing the doll’s hair while talking to the doll. Loki is in love with Hilde.
• In another scene, Odin is walking through a corridor and Buddha is waiting for him in a Sherlock Holmes costume.
• Odin walks away ignoring him but Buddha then asks him about Seigfried.
• Odin stops when he hears this. Odin is also involved in this with Hilde and Seigfried.

• Seigfried is imprisoned in Tartarus under Odin’s orders.
• After hearing this, Odin attacks Buddha with murderous intent.
• Odin uses his weapon Gungnir. Buddha retreats.
• Odin then goes for another attack but Beelzebub appears and saves Buddha.
• Odin is planning something that will change the fate of the heavens.
• Back to the battlefield, the arena has changed and it is Kyoto from the Edo era.
• The 10th Round of Ragnarok starts in the next chapter releasing on 25th January 2024.
