In the previous chapter, we saw that Sister Lily was surprised upon Asta’s arrival on the battlefield as she did not expect it. Asta and Liebe discussed what Ichika saw about his father. Yrul then starts again and said that humans are weak and then tried to humiliate the Ryuzen. He said that they are the strongest in the country but still they have no level at all.
He further says that humans can never change as they will always have fear of things. Then we see a monologue of Asta where an illusion of Asta appears and says ‘I can not become the Wizard King’. Yrul was surprised that the one Asta fears most is himself. Yrul’s planned to unleash Asta’s fear on him and thought that he will get praised for it by Lucius.
Asta’s illusion was talking about his insecurities and said that he does not consider himself on the same level as Yuno. He then said that his biggest fear was that he was weak. But then he continues saying that this weak self no longer exists as he wiped it out during the training period. Yosuga then said that Asta found what he was looking for during the training.
Yrul got angry after hearing all this and wanted to end this all in a single blow but Asta attacked him first this was a special attack that had no physical meaning but he cut his powers off from his body. Asta is better now and now he knows the exact moment when he has to use Zetten. The chapter ended with Asta telling Lily that he is coming to save her.

- Chapter Title – Asta vs Sister Lily
- Heath gets the flashback when Asta defeated him for the first time.
- Yosuga tells Heath that he’s his opponent because he “can’t let the rendezvous of a man and woman be interrupted”.
- Then Sister Lily asked Asta why he is still alive.
- Asta says that the people of this country saved him.
- He then says that he wonders if it was Lily who sent him here.
- Lily says that this is not what she wanted and her intention was to kill him.
- Asta says that can not be true as he know Sister Lily for a while now and she could not do any such thing even when she is controlled by someone.
- Lily says that is not getting manipulated.
- Lily says that she just doesn’t want Asta to be alive and then casts the “Fist of Love” spell.
- Asta then gets a flashback from his childhood.
- Lily is thinking that she can not use her teleportation spell as Asta is still conscious.
- She can’t use other spells either because of anti magic.
- She then unleashes a combined Water x Spatial magic spell: “Sachiel’s flash”.
- Lily shouts that Asta needs to die for the sake of this world. Asta replies that he won’t let Lily kill him.
- It is revealed that Paladins will do anything as long as it comes out of Lucius’ mouth.
- However they are still themselves but they will follow Lucius.
- Asta says that he will not forgive Lucius for this and then slashes Sister Lily.
- Asta just cuts her powers not her physical and hopes she will return back to her normal self.
- Chapter ends.
