In the last episode, we got to see Zeke’s backstory. How Zeke was forced to become a warrior candidate so his parents can benefit from it in their rebellion plan, How he met with the former Beast Titan holder Mr. Xavier, How he followed Mr. Xavier’s philosophy and made Mr. Xavier’s goal his own.

Attack on Titan Episode 15 Recap
The last episode contained a major part of Zeke Yeager’s life. Zeke’s father and mother were anti Marleyen group members and they were trying to use Zeke as a shield for their plan. To succeed in their plan they forced Zeke to become a warrior candidate even though he was not good in physical strength.
Zeke was pretty depressed about failing the exam and does not want to face his parents. In the meanwhile, he met Mr. Xavier who had The Beast Titan at that present time. They started playing baseball and one day after overhearing the police officers, Zeke tells about his parents to Mr. Xavier.
Mr. Xavier suggested that he reveal about his parents so that his grandparents can live in peace. After that Zeke learned many things about titans and beast titan and royal blood titan powers from Mr. Xavier. After finding his father was alive and had a child Eren, Zeke goes to Shiganshina district and says he will come back for him.
Then Zeke and Eren met at the war hospital and Zeke revealed his euthanization plan to Eren and Eren agreed to follow the plan. Zeke gave him his baseball as a gift as they can not shake hands as anything could happen by physical touch. In the last scene, Zeke blows himself with the thunder spear by pulling the chain.
The explosion was massive and Captain Levi can be seen flying and drops hard on the ground. Zeke’s body is also in pieces and at this rate, he might probably not survive. More to be revealed in SNK Season 4 Episode 16.
