In the forest, they met an old guy who was living in the forest and was trying to build a treehouse for himself to survive.

Akira took this opportunity to build a treehouse as he wanted to build one for himself too and they all decided to help the old man. The old man told them that he was a carpenter and wanted to build the treehouse with his son but his family turned into zombies. The previous episode started with the new quest of Akira visiting his family in his village but after meeting the old man in the village, Akira was able to complete one more task of building a treehouse from his bucket list. After leaving the forest, they headed toward his hometown and the way was too dangerous. At first, there was no one to be found in the village and that got Akira worried.

Then to everyone’s surprise we saw that the village was safe and they even provided shelter to the people that came from the city. They were the ones who closed the tunnel to stop the zombies from entering their village. Akira was happy that his parents were safe and he then blurted out things he realized after the zombie apocalypse started.

He left his house for his job and never visited his parents for the last three years and apologized to them for that. Akira’s father then hit him on the head for talking nonsense. He wanted to repay his parents and he was thinking of ways to do so. Then his father called him for some work in the fields and he was able to ask some questions to him. It was revealed that his father was sick.

On their way home, Akira noticed a guy he had seen before and his father told him that he was from the city. Then we saw the guy, who felt like he was discarded by society and then teamed up with three other people like him who made a list like Akira but with some evil deeds. At the end of the episode, it looked like they were trying to release the zombies from the tunnel into the village.

Story of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

The protagonist of the series, Akira Tendo is a 24-year-old office worker who becomes trapped in a world overrun by zombies. He then gets an interesting idea and decides to make the most of the situation and embarks on a quest to fulfill his bucket list.
