The fan-favorite Isekai is back this season but Rudeus is not so happy about it the mood will lighten up in Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 2 as he accepted that sulking in a dark room is not going to help him.
In the first episode of the first part of the second season of Mushoku Tensei, we saw that our protagonist Rudeus was depressed as he got separated from his mother and others due to teleportation thing. Looked like he had made some new friends but they were a party going on a quest. Suzzane seemed like she wanted to cheer Rudeus up.
Redeus was not in the mood and tried to go on a quest alone but ended up joining Suzzane’s squad and they went on the mission to wipe the bears. The mission looked easy at first but then after some complication, Rudeus used his powers to save the day and of course his newly joined party.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
The first episode started with the journey of lonely Rudeus as he goes to find his mother Zenith after he got abandoned by Eris who left on her own journey. Now he was heading towards the Northern Continent and Suzzane and Sara were his travel mates. When they arrived at their destination they parted ways and Rudeus rented a room for a month just to sulk around.
He was still heartbroken with no signs of moving on. He then disbanded his old party and decided to go solo on the quests but he was not in good health. He ended up joining the archers he met while traveling to the Northern Continent and Sara was against this decision to add Rudeus to their party. He was also given the role to trap the grizzlies.
The task seemed easy at first but Grizzlies improvised and used the party’s plan in their favor and used the mud to cover themselves so when the party attacks their attack would not land. After that Rudeus and his party got trapped as Grizzlies came from all directions. When there was no out Rudeus finally gained his senses back and used his powers to eliminate those Grizzlies.
This act of Rudeus saved the party from being wiped out. Well, Suzzane thanked Rudeus but Sara also did the same who was against the decision to bring him along and his inclusion to the party. After this, he reflects back on his life and realizes that it is not over and he can still do better things.
