Chief commander Shinomiya is able to beat Hibino easily. It is revealed that Chief commander Shinomiya was called the strongest soldier in the defense force. Due to the attack, Hibino nearly transforms into his kaiju form. Hibino feels that a mega monster is present before him. It is then revealed that the weapon which Chief commander Shinomiya is wearing is made from the remains of Monster #2.

Monster #2 was responsible for the destruction of a city in 1972. A commander says to Kikoru that the only person who can use this weapon is her father. Hibino then remembers that Kikoru told him about the specials weapons were made by the bodies of coded monsters. Chief commander Shinomiya hits Hibino in such a way that his arms and legs are torn apart. The chapter ends with Chief commander Shinomiya targeting hibino’s core.
