Gintama THE FINAL Movie was announced back in this year and is scheduled to be released in Japanese Theatres on January 8, 2021. The story is based on the manga and the animation studio for the movie is Bandai Namco Pictures which was previously known as Sunrise.
Gintama manga began serialization in 2003 and ended in September 2018 with a total of 76 volumes collected. The manga has been adapted into several anime series and movies.
If you don’t know My Hero Academia Season 5 is releasing soon and Demon Slayer Movie is releasing this month.

The trailer begins with the main character Sakata Gintoki saying “The thing I wanted to protect is in my soul.” also Shinpachi and Kagura join Gintoki. Gintama THE FINAL Movie Release Date
The movie will be released in theatres on 8 January 2021 in Japan by Warner Bros. Japan. We don’t have a US release date yet but we can expect a US release date soon. As per the normal trend, movies get released in the US after 3-4 months of being released in Japan. So, maybe the movie will be released in the US in May-June 2021.
