In the previous chapter, we saw that Nero was not able to heal as her sealing magic seals the wounds and controls the pain to a certain point. If she got defeated, the spell would unravel. Nacht screamed that she needs to be separated from Henry and Gordon. Charmy then attacked Damnatio. Lucius has given his paladins two magics.

Damnatio has possession of the purified version of the supreme devil Baal and the atmospheric magic. For the past 500 years, Secre only lived for her mission, She had no attachment to anything else than her mission even if it was her own life. But now she does not want to live without Lumiere.

Lumiere then said thank you for the past 500 years and asked her to find happiness in this era. Damnatio was attacking the members of the black bulls. Secre said that the friends she has are her fault. She said that she is the reason she got her heart back and she is alive today. Damnatio then shouted that the time is over and we saw Asta coming out of a portal.

• We see the events of Hino country before Asta got teleported at the start of the chapter.
• Yousuga tells Asta that it is time for him to go and Asta thanks them all.
• Finral appears and says to Asta that he is here to pick him up.
• Ryu asks Finral if there is space for one more person.
• Ryu asks Ichika to go and Ichika declines saying that her place is by Ryu’s side.
• Yosuga says he can protect the Hino country and Ryu, so she can go.
• Ryu then says to Ichika to go see her brother and come back alive.
• Asta and Ichika then enter the door.
• Damnatio notices Asta coming out.
• Asta is angry upon seeing the condition of his squad members.

• Asta then asks Finral to focus on the treatment of the injured while he drew his Demon slasher katana.
• Asta then says that he is not going to lose anymore.
• Damnatio says he will use air magic to pass judgment on Asta.
• Asta cancels air magic out too to Damnatio’s surprise.
• Finral notices that Asta has become more adept with his anti-magic.  
• Asta remarks Damnatio’s magic is very incompatible with his powers.
• Damnatio goes on a rant while Asta is preparing to use Zetten.
• Asta then slashes Damnatio.
