In a recent announcement, it was announced that Pretty Boy Detective Club anime adapting the light novel of the same name and will begin broadcasting in 2021. Pretty Boy Detective Club Light Novel is written by Nisio Isin which ran from October 2015 to December 2019 and was licensed recently by Kodansha.

The animation for Pretty Boy Detective Club anime will be done by Studio Shaft. Studio Shaft is a prominent animating studio and has worked on many famous titles before. The a fix release date is not announced yet. We just know that the anime will be airing in 2021 but when? that is still a question. For a specific release date we will jhave to wait for another announcement.
If we are say, Pretty Boy Detective Club anime will be released either in Spring 2021 or Fall 2021. If it makes Summer 2021 release the animation might suffer and that is not a good sign.

Story
The story falls in mystery category and follows a mysterious detective group, the Pretty Boy Detective Club which is rumored to solve the fights and conflicts on school grounds of Yubiwa Private Academy. The story starts with a girl Mayumi Doujima, a second-year student at the same school seeks detective club’s help in finding a star which she saw in her childhood.
The mysterious star appears every ten years. The detective club decides to help Mayumi search for the star. The club have 5 detectives.
