The antagonist Suguru Geto appears in Jujutsu Kaisen manga, and its prequel Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. Gojo Satoru was responsible for Suguru Geto’s death in the Cursed Child Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. Together with Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri, he had previously studied under Masamichi Yaga at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Suguru killed more than a hundred non-sorcerers in a single night due to an incident caused by his experiences as a jujutsu sorcerer. He was expelled from Jujutsu High school and earned the reputation of being the worst curser.
Reason for Suguru Geto’s death in Jujutsu Kaisen
In this arc, Yuta Okkotsu and Rika Orimoto fulfill their promise to one another as children that they will fall in love and marry when they grow older. Rika tragically died in a car accident one day, preventing their goal from becoming a reality. Rika’s death resulted in a curse, turning her into a spiteful cursed ghost that followed Yuta through high school, and little did we know she was going to be the main reason for Suguru Geto’s death in Jujutsu Kaisen. Suguru Geto watched Yuta’s every action with admiration. He tested Rika’s strength by using all the previous curses. Regrettably, he was unable to witness it first-hand.
How Suguru Geto’s died in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Suguru enters the campus of the school to face Yuta personally. As soon as he praises Rika’s fortitude, Satoru, Principal Yaga, and other sorcerers attack him. He took advantage of the attention and chance to declare that the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons would start in Kyoto and Shinjuku on December 24, 2017. This date would be the most important in Jujutsu Kaisen as Suguru Geto’s death in Jujutsu Kaisen was shown on this date. In each city, a thousand cursed spirits will be let loose with orders to kill everyone who isn’t a sorcerer. Soon after insisting that both parties curse each other endlessly, he exits.
Masamichi Yaga gathers all available sorcerers for a conference to discuss how to stop Suguru’s impending terrorist strike. Suguru, however, recognizes the plot of his old instructor. All jujutsu sorcerers and the bulk of pupils are there on the day of the battle in either Shinjuku or Kyoto. Suguru takes advantage of this by breaking into Tokyo Jujutsu High alone while Yuta is left behind.
When Maki tries to stop him, Satoru learns of Suguru’s scheme and sends Toge and Panda back to stop him. All three of Yuta’s pals are defeated by Suguru, who also severely hurts them. Yuta loses control of his emotions as he sees the curse user standing over his dying comrades and angrily yells at Rika. Together, they take on Suguru and demonstrate their capacity to imitate cursed skills. To ward off Suguru’s curses, Yuta uses a reverse cursed method to cure his pals and even mimics Toge’s cursed words.
End of Suguru Geto’s death in Jujutsu Kaisen
When their struggle ends, Suguru unleashes all of his curses on Uzumaki. As a final resort, Yuta opens his heart to Rika and makes an unconditional commitment to marry her. Due to the strongest curse of all—love—being unleashed, Rika’s strength is no longer constrained. Using this power, Yuta vanquishes Suguru, who is forced to flee and consider how to get Rika the next time. After Geto returns Yuta’s student ID, he runs into Gojo, and the two initiate a conversation. Gojo ends Geto’s life, and Suguru Geto’s death in Jujutsu Kaisen is shown. After the arc ends, Gojo decides against getting Geto’s body taken in by Jujutsu High.
