Story

Sorao is exploring its strange dream world which she calls the ‘other side’ ever since she stumbled in her days as an urban explorer. But her recent trip put her into serious trouble.

That’s when she met Toriko who is a strange young woman searching the other side for her friend. They helped each other with their respective mission. Each journey in Otherside brings different dangers and skills, and Sorao isn’t sure that this search is worth it or not.

Otherside Picnic ( Ura Sekai Picnic ) is a Japanese science fiction yuri light novel series, written by Iori Miyazawa (based on the novel Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky) and illustrated by Shirakaba. A manga adaptation with art by Eita Mizuno has been serialized since February 2018.
