In the last chapter, we saw a flashback from the Old Marineford where Garp was taking a class on new Marines. Koby was also in that class. Garp asked the Marines if there was a baby and an old man on a lone island who would they save if they had a boat that could carry only two people. Koby said that he would get down and save both of them, Garp threw a chalk at him.

Garp then told them to save the baby as the old man has not had much time to live and the future of young people is limitless. In another flashback from Amazon Lily, Blackbeard agreed to leave the place but with 800 Marines and the battleship. Koby then stepped up and said to take him instead of the Marines. Back to the present, we saw that the giant hand was about to destroy Garp’s ship.

Garp then told them to work calmly and tasked Koby to destroy the hand. Koby was in shock and denied but Garp said that in order to win battles instant decisions must be made. Koby and others were on the move to stop the hand while Garp destroyed the skull at an abnormal speed and cut it into two. Garp remembers the past when Koby joined the Marines and used to train in secret.

Koby destroyed the hand and then all of them were on the ship except Garp. Garp then told them to leave and said he will find a way to survive. After this, we saw Garp with an ice blade in his chest and he was still smiling. The newspaper reported that Young Hero Koby has returned while Garp is missing. Also, marine ships have reached Egghead Island.
