[UPDATED] One Piece Chapter 1045 Spoilers, Raw Scans, Release Date

The final showdown between Luffy and Kaido has started in One Piece Chapter 1045 and this time it looks like Luffy is playing with Kaido. This Gear 5 awakening is on another level in terms of power and strength. Read more about it in the spoilers section below.

In the previous chapter, we saw Luffy’s awakening where he unleashed the powers of his final Gear 5. It was also revealed that Luffy ate the devil fruit that World Government was looking for, for the last 800 years. Luffy was feeling strange and black lightning was coming out of his body.

All of Luffy’s allies were happy that Luffy is okay while some were confused about Joy Boy and what Zunesha said. The Gorousei said that the actual fruit was ‘Akuma no Mi’ and it looked like it tried to escape from them. It was revealed that Zoan-type fruits have their own mind and Luffy’s fruit was also a Zoan-type.

The devil fruit Luffy ate was ‘Human Human Fruit’ [Hito Hito no Mi] Mythical Zoan-type ‘Nika’. This awakening is going to give Luffy’s rubber body more strength and freedom as per Gorousei. Then we saw a conversation between Hiyori and Orochi about Oden. Orochi ordered Kanjuurou to burn Hiyori but the opposite happened and Kanjuurou attacked Orochi.

On the other side, Luffy was feeling great with his new form and then went to attack Kaido. Luffy grabbed Kaido’s dragon by his arm and dragged him onto the roof. Then Luffy attacked Kaido repeatedly. Then we saw the ultimate form of Luffy ‘Gear 5‘ where Luffy’s hair looked like flames and a vapor collar around his neck. The chapter ended with Luffy saying ‘let’s end this’ to Kaido.

One Piece 1045 raw scans and leaks are out. The first image shows Luffy’s extended arm while he goes to punch Kaido in the face. The second image shows Luffy and Kaido’s confrontation, Luffy is heading toward Kaido with his extended arm while Kaido is ready to attack Luffy with his weapon. The third scan shows Luffy sitting with his face down (probably attacked by Kaido) in front of Kaido.
