In the previous chapter, we saw that Shoji was ordered by Mic to not let anyone through. We then saw that a mutant came to attack Shoji with a weapon but was stopped by the pigman. Then pigman told his story and how he face discrimination and suffered because of it. This is why he was moved by Spinner’s words.

But Shoji changed his mind about the world and now he knows that there are good people too in this world. After this, all the mutants stopped. Inside the hospital, Mic shot a sound wave in Kurogiri’s direction that knocked down Spinner and damaged the device Spinner was carrying. Spinner was out of strength and his body shrank.

Then he realize that with the device one of Tomura’s hands also dropped. Mic then remembers the old days and says that if Kurogiri is not returning to good he should stay as a good memory. Then suddenly Spinner puts Shigaraki’s hand on Kurogiri’s face. Kurogiri wakes up and said that he will be the one who will save Shigaraki.
