In the last chapter, we saw that Lucifero was mumbling about being the strongest in the underworld, and then Lucius appeared and said that in the human world we have the strongest magic and took his heart. After that, there was a time skip of 1 year and 3 months. The next scene showed Asta being promoted to the senior magic knight.

Yuno is already a grand magic knight and is on an ongoing mission. All the magic knights were in the ceremony. Yami still does not know why Charlotte acts weird around him, Finral told him what happened. Wizard King is missing. Asta said that the next Wizard King will be Fuego, Nozel, or Mereo.

Asta then decided to confess her feelings for Sister Lilly seriously and then got rejected as she thinks of him as a brother and a family member. Asta acknowledges it and says that he will be the Wizard King one day. Then suddenly Lucius appeared and congratulated Asta and said “You have reached the endpoint.”

• Asta is shocked that Wizard King is dead and is in disbelief.

• Lucius’ inner monologues show that he is thinking about destroying all humanity and rebuilding them with the magic of his siblings.
