Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 22 ‘The origin of blind Obidience’ and it will be starting a brand new arc ‘The Death Painting Arc’ for the anime series which now has three episodes left in its first season.

In the last episode characters (both good guys and bad guys) were in a relaxing mood. First, we saw the Jujutsu High teachers meeting where they discussed the motive of the attack and the stolen cursed objects. It was decided that the casualties will not be disclosed to the students.

After a day’s break, the event continued and as per the lottery system, ‘Baseball’ was played among Tokyo and Kyoto high school students. There was some confusion about rules and other things but in the end, Tokyo school won the match by 2-0 as Itadori hit a huge home run.

Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 22 ‘The origin of blind Obidience’ preview shows Yuji and Megumi in a car looking at three people that are very likely to be criminals. The last episode was a chilly episode where everyone was enjoying their time. At the start, we saw the weird guy who was going to fight Utahime but ran away. Hanami barely survived Gojou’s attack but she is alive. The guy saw Hanami and got the tink that he approaches her with killing intent.

Then we saw Mahito saying Do not forget you are merely a human and he replies that he was just helping. After that Mahito says that the mission was a success and they have stolen all six cursed objects that were in Jujutsu high including Sukuna’s Finger and Cursed Womb: Death Paintings.

Now he explains where the cursed objects were hidden and who protects them. Tengen who is an immortal being was given the responsibility to secure these objects but his defense is not that good and after discovering the real gate it was very easy for Mahito to stole the cursed objects.

The veil created to keep Gojou out was just a distraction and they just wanted to draw Gojou’s attention elsewhere so that they can easily execute their real plan. Well, this plan of distraction worked and they successfully stole the cursed objects from Tokyo Jujutsu high.

Getou and his subordinates are planning to seal Gojou on 31st October in Shibuya and they want to gather as much power as they can. They don’t want to waste any power fighting with Sukuna’s vessel Itadori Yuji and other Jujutsu Sorcerers.

Getou mentions that they will take help from some other cursed users and mentions Kamiya Juzo but also says that he is a dangerous guy and they will eventually have to fight him later. The flashback is over and now we saw Mahito landing a hand on Hanami who is heavily injured.

The scene shifts to Jujutsu high where all the teachers and higher-ups having a meeting over what happened behind their back and why there were so many casualties. It was decided that the casualties will be hidden from the students. We saw Getou and others with a woman with white hair probably a new character who will be introduced later.

Gojou Sensei explains the situation about what exactly happened and why Tengan sama was not able to stop Mahito and others. The reason behind this was hanami as Tengan Sama’s technique does not work against trees and they took the advantage of it.

The students were given daybreak and after it was left for students to continue the tournament or not. The student chose to continue it and the game was decided by a lottery system corrupted by Gojou Sensei. It was then decided that they will be playing a baseball match.

The original event planned for the second day was individual battles between students and both principles were angry. Todo’s explanation of how the attack should not affect students and the conversation between Tokyo first-year students was quite interesting and funny too.

Megumi is okay now and the same goes for others. The baseball match started and the match was really funny and it had its moments. Both principles were discussing about Itadori. Mechamaru’s pitching and the ball hitting Todou’s face these both scenes were pretty funny too.

The baseball match was won by Tokyo highschool by 2-0 all thanks to Itadori’s two men homerun. Well, it ended well for students as no one was seriously injured.

More will be revealed in JJK Episode 22. There will be two episodes left after the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 22. Jujutsu Kaisen anime series is based on the manga of the same name which is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The series is written by Gege Akutami.
