Sukuna has completed the ‘Bath’ ritual Sukuna and Uraume were talking about in the last chapter in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 216. We have a detailed explanation of how the bath ritual works in the spoilers section below.

In the last chapter, we saw that Sukuna noticed some sudden drop in the coursed energy output as Megumi resisted Sukuna in his body. Sukuna was hoping that the cursed energy output does not fall below 10 percent otherwise he would not be able to keep up in the battle. Then we saw Maki entering the battleground and teaming up with Yuji to attack Sukuna.

Maki was landing some powerful attacks and threw Sukuna off balance with a power push she used. Maki was thinking about Megumi all this fight and was wondering if using her powers against him was right or wrong cause she might hurt Megumi in the process. Yuji and Maki showed some exceptional teamwork Maki caught Yuji in mid-air and swung him toward Sukuna and Yuji landed a power punch on Sukuna’s face.

Sukuna realized that the cursed energy output will further decrease if he keeps fighting Megumi’s friends. Then he used a cursed technique called ‘Spider Thread’. After all this Uraume entered the arena and froze Yuji and Maki. Yuji broke out of the ice but it took him some time and this time was enough for Sukuna and Uraume to leave. Uraume told Sukuna that his bath preparations are ready and now they are heading towards the place.

• Uraume is in ritual dress, and Kenjaku is also there.
• Uraume asks Kenjaku why he is not finishing the culling games first.
• Kenjaku says that he will merge Tengen but now he is more interested in ‘bath’.
• The ‘Bath’ is an ancient occult ceremony where vessels are soaked for 10 months and 10 days in a solution of Cursed Energy.
• This solution is made by crushing and straining some special creatures.
• Kenjaku asks why they are doing all this.
• Uraume replies that it will get them closer to the ‘Demon’.
• They want to take full control of Megumi’s body by suppressing his soul deeper into the depths.
• In the meanwhile, Sukuna has completed the ‘Bath’ ritual.
• Kenjaku is weird and Sukuna asks him what is so funny.

• Kenjaku says that he thought Sukuna will leave them alone as he always had a one-sided love affair with Yorozu (Fake Tsumiki).
• Sukuna says that he does not care about Yorozu but he wants to destroy Tsumiki Fushiguro to completely sink Megumi inside him.
• In Sendai Colony, Uro and Ryu notice some unusual aura coming from far.
• Uro is terrified and says ‘Here comes the king of curses’.
• Sukuna instantly arrives in front of Ryu and slashes him before he could even act.
• Ryu says “What are you? I was going to cut you in three pieces, but I can’t do it.” and Sukuna laughs at him.
• Sukuna says he is extremely sorry for underestimating him and but he would get serious for the next attack.
• Uro tries to use Granite Blast but before she could use the attack, Sukuna slices off Ryu’s face.
• The chapter ends with Sukuna getting confronted by Yorozu.
• The fight will start in the next chapter.
