In the last chapter, we got to know more details about Yuji’s opponent Higuruma. He is now 36 years old and was a top scorer in his course. He also possessed an innate talent for cursed techniques.

He was able to become a 1st Grade sorcerer just after 12 days of joining the culling game. He learned the basic concepts of techniques and increased his strength. He beat 20 players in their own games. He is impressed by Yuji’s strength and is going to use full force to fight him.

Yuji on the other side is looking for a weakness of Higuruma. Then Yuji appealed for a retrial but it goes wrong for him as the Shibuya mass murders came up and he was given guilty in the case by Judgeman and was given the death penalty.

• Higuruma’s gavel turns into the executioner’s sword as he is going to deliver justice.
• Higuruma is aware that Yuji was not behind the mass murders in Shibuya and it was Sukuna’s fault.
• Higuruma’s sword disappears when he was about to hit Yuji.
• Yuji punches him and the blow sends him flying.
• Then they both sit down and discuss things.
• Higuruma tells Yuji that Yuji can not bear legal responsibility as he was not able to control Sukuna.
• In other words, Yuji is not guilty of that crime.
