In the previous episode, we saw that Sagiri woke up and she found out that she was poisoned by butterflies and then she got unconscious. Then we saw that outside the cave Gabimaru was preparing food for all of them using the integrants he found on the island. Then we saw that they discussed what they found till now and also discussed what the elixir of life looks like.

They only have some clues and a picture but nothing concrete. Gabimaru then told all of them that he saw actual proof of the elixir of life and that must exist on this island. Then Genji said that looking at the area it might be in the form of flowers. Senta also told them there must be something on the island apart from the creatures as the tech used to create the statues is not ordinary.

The creatures have muscles like humans and they look like disfigured Gods. Then Genji and Sagiri talked in person and Genji told her that she should leave the island at once as she is unfit to survive the things they are facing. He told her that her duty is to give the clan their next head and she should bear the children of the head.

He then told her that she has limits as a woman and she must leave at once to save the future of the clan. Sagiri then drowned in her own thoughts as she face so many difficulties because of her status and her father. We then saw Nurugai and Tenza on a boat as they tried to leave the island but found themselves in trouble with some weird sea creatures.

Then we saw Nurugai’s backstory that how his clan was killed because of some things. Tenza had a change of heart because he saw the little boy and thought that he should not be executed. Then we saw they both faced the monsters together and won the fight but were not able to leave the island as the water took them back to the island.

It seems that there is only one way to get out of the island and they have to find it. After that they cleansed themselves and Tenza got to know that Nurugai is a girl. Senta also backed Genji but said that he would feel good if she stayed on the island. Then we saw a conversation between Gabimaru and Sagiri at night.

The next day, Sagiri told Genji that she would not leave the island. She then told him why she made the decision and then out of nowhere we saw the giant that killed an Asaemon on the shore attack Genji.
