Jigokuraku Hell’s Paradise Episode 1 will officially start the Spring season of animes. This series is one of the very anticipated series this season and the animation for the series is being handled by MAPPA Studio. the word MAPPA says it enough about the treatment it is about to receive.

Jigokuraku also known as Hell’s Paradise is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Kaku who is also the author of Ayashimon. The story is centered around Gabimaru, a death row inmate who is given a chance to redeem himself when he is sent on a mysterious mission to an unknown island known as “Hell’s Paradise.”

There with a group of other criminals, he must search for the elixir of immortality, which is said to be located on the island. As they face the dangerous and deadly creatures of the island, they encounter various other beings, including powerful ninja clans, monsters, and demons. We also see Gabimaru’s past explored through flashbacks, revealing his troubled history and the reason he was incarnated.

About Jigokuraku [Hell’s Paradise]
