Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle started as a Japanese multimedia project by King Records now expanded into a universe consisting of manga adaptations, a mobile game, and an anime. It was all possible because of the project’s uniqueness and the success it gained overnight.
Considering the success of the project the creators decided to make an anime about it. The official anime project titled ‘Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle – Rhyme Anima‘ was announced back in December 2019.

Studio
The studio animating the series is A-1 Studios which is a very good anime studio assuming by their previous works. So we can assume that the animation quality is going to be fantastic. Some previous works of A-1 Studios are : Fairy Tail, Promised Neverland, Seven Deadly Sins etc.

Hypnosis Mic Anime Release Date
‘Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle – Rhyme Anima‘ was originally set to be released in July 2020 but the release was delayed due to Covid-19 or coronavirus spread across Japan. But now the conditions are better than before the creators have decided to release the anime in the Fall season of 2020.
As per the official news, the first episode of Hypnosis Mic Anime will be released on October 3, 2020, and then a weekly episode will drop every Saturday afterward. The series will premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, MBS, and other channels. You can also watch it on some digital streaming platforms.
Story
After a war, now women rule the world. All weapons are now destroyed and their use is prohibited. So, Now men have to battle through the Rap Battles using Hypnosis Mics. Hypnosis Mics are used to affect people sympathetically and to influence them over something.
The biggest rap group known as ‘The Dirty Dawg’ has been split into four individual groups representing different regions of Tokyo, Japan. These groups now use Hypnosis Mics and their words to gain other territories and influence over people. Rap Battle is the only weapon that is left in this world as the creation of any weapon is banned.
