The long-awaited fight between Gojo Satoru and Sukuna has finally started in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 and Gojo already overwhelmed Sukuna already. Read more about it in the spoilers section.

In the previous chapter, we saw that Sukuna ate all his fingers one by one except the one that is guarded by Gojo. Sukuna said that Gojo is protecting it because he can only execute Yuji after he eats all ten fingers. Then we see that the time has passed and the day of the battle has arrived.

Kenjaku asked Kogane about the number of people who died due to CT removal. Kogane told Kenjaku that 61 is the number. Gojo was being treated by Shoko and talked about Nanami and said that he thought he was the type of person who could survive any condition. Mei Mei was placing bets on the fight. Yuji and Kusakabe were training.

Yuta told Inumaki that Sukuna is the reason Inumaki lost his arm. Kenjaku plans to kill other players while Gojo fights Sukuna. He says that if Gojo loses to Sukuna the other players will attack Sukuna. Then we saw a meeting where they were discussing what to say to Gojo to encourage him. Yuji starts and pats him on the shoulder and then everyone did it.

• The chapter starts with Ijichi asking Gojo abt the Prison Realm experience.
• Gojo tells him it is like a busy work week but he does not want to think about it.
• Gojo asks about the people affected by unlimited void during the Shibuya fight and Ijichi says they are all recovered.
• He then gets on top of a building and calls Utahime and Gakuganji.
• On the other side, Uraume tells Sukuna that they know the day but they don’t know the time and place for the fight.
• Sukuna tells her that he senses a strong aura from the top of a building.
• In a flashback, Gakuganji tells Gojo that he killed Yaga and Gojo says it’s fine.
• Gojo asked about Yaga’s final words and they were about how to create a Cursed corpse. Panda is also there.

• Gojo tells him that he has changed.
• The next page reveals that all the higher-ups have been killed.
• Gojo says if Grandpa becomes the leader things will be better.
• Gojo then tells Ijuchi that he trusts him most.
• Back to the present, we see Ijichi behind Gojo.
• He is setting up a barrier while thinking about the past.
• Utahime is performing a dance ritual and Utahime’s Cursed Technique is named “Solo Solo Kinku”.

• Her cursed technique can enhance the total output of Cursed Energy of any Sorcerer including herself.
• They all activate their powers and Gojo then blasts a 200% powered-up ‘Hollow Purple’ toward Sukuna.
• Sukuna feels intimidated and then tries to stop the attack.
• All the buildings in the way get destroyed.
• Sukuna gets confused and then takes damage.
• His right hand is burnt.
• Gojo appears in front of him and says you must be forgetting that you are the challenger here.
• Sukuna is angry.
