In the last episode, we saw that while chasing rat-sized Hantengu, Tanjiro noticed a new demon presence and the other demon disappeared. Tanjiro was confused that where the other demons disappeared and we saw that Genya witnessed that those demons combined into one and formed the new demon that just appeared and looks very menacing.

The demon exchanged some words with Tanjiro while Genya was trying to make a move but his body did not move. On the other side, Muichiro accepted that he couldn’t get out of that trap set up by Gyokko but Kotetsu saved the day as he provided Muichiro with some oxygen and then used his powers to free himself.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 7 Recap

In the previous episode, we saw that Tanjiro was chasing that small demon and noticed some change around them. The four demons disappeared one by one suddenly and a new demon appeared out of nowhere. Tanjiro was not able to grasp the situation and before he could do that he was attacked by the new demon who attacked using some wooden dragon mouths.

Then we saw Genya’ POV that he witnessed that the demon with the shaft consumed all the other demons one by one and then they all emerged as the new demon. The demon was looking very menacing and he was very strong compared to the others.

Tanjiro then talked to the demon and there was some philosophical questioning. In the meanwhile, Genya tried to move his body so that they can get the upper hand on the situation but his body did not move by an inch. On the other side, Muichiro was losing consciousness as he was low on oxygen.

Gyokko said that he looked good inside and then went inside to take a look at what they were protecting. Muichiro also accepted that he can not get out of that trap and accepted his defeat but he also remembered what Tanjiro said to him.

Gyokko went inside the hut and found Haganezuka working on the sword that Tanjrio gave him. Gyokko attacked him several times to break his concentration but he was not distracted even for a second and this made Gyokko very jealous.

Kotestu was outside and tried to free Muichiro but then suddenly a fish demon appeared and attacked Kotetsu. Kotetsu got injured but then he provided some oxygen to Muichiro directly and after that, he was able to free himself.

The story will start from chapter 98 with Kibutsuji Muzan who serves as the leader of all demons having a meeting with all the upper moons as one of them has been killed. Muzan summoned Akaza in the second season, alerting all other upper moons that they would be gathering in a single place after a very long period.
