The new arc has started in Demon Slayer anime and Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 2 will show Tanjiro in Swordsmith village as he explores the hidden village while finding the special thing Mitsuri told him about.

The previous episode showed that Muzan does not go easy even on his Upper Moons and of course, they are also terrified of him. We got to see all 5 Upper Moons where the number one Kokushibo made his first appearance in the anime series. The episode started in the special dimension where all higher-ranked demons gathered to discuss what they are going to do next and Muzan instructed them on what needed to be done.

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke all have also recovered from their wounds from their last fight. Zenitsu is already on a mission while Inosuke and Tanjiro are in medical care as they recovered recently. Tanjiro then went to Sword Smith Village to get his sword built. The series will follow the events in Swordsmith Village as the demons are also heading there from their intel.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 1 Recap

The first episode of the series starts with Kagaya Ubuyashiki that is seriously ill and but now he sees hope for humans for the very first time in 100 years. Akaza was summoned by Muzan after his fight and after the recent fight of season 2, all the upper moons were summoned to the infinite castle. The demons were also summoned after around 100 years and we first saw Upper Five Gyokko who lives inside a pot.

Then Upper Four Hantengu was introduced who looks like a strange demon and looked very scared of demons maybe there is a catch behind his personality. Also, he was also scared of almost everything. Then we saw Upper Two Doma and we saw a little fight between Upper Two and Three but Doma took it lightly while Akaza was being serious with his attacks. Then we also catch a glimpse of Upper One Kokushibo for the first time but it was from behind.

Then Muzan arrived and told the demons that he always knew Gyutaro will be defeated at some point because of his sister. Then he talked about the Ubuyashiki family and how he want to annihilate them. Then all demons told what they think about the matter and Gyokko said that he had some unconfirmed info. Muzan then got angry and told Gyokko to confirm whatever he heard in his own style. Doma then asked to tag along with Gyokko but was interrupted by Akaza.

Then Kokushibo interfered and told Akaza if he is not happy with the current rankings he can challenge Doma to a fight. Then we saw Kokushibo’s six-eyed face for the very first time in the anime. After that, Gyokko and Hantengu left for the location Gyokko heard about. In a flashback, Tanjiro’s father was serving tea to someone with similar earrings to Tanjiro. This all was Tanjiro’s dream and Tanjiro finally woke up after two months in a coma.

Then the episode got light and we saw a Kakushi announcing that Tanjiro was out of his coma. They all were worried about him and told him the same and were happy that he recovered. Inosuke was also there and he woke up about a week ago before Tanjiro. Tengen Uzui retired while Zenitsu was already on a mission. Tanjiro then started training again and for sword practice, he needed a sword so he wrote a letter to Haganezuka but the response was negative and he wrote in a letter that Taniro deserves no sword.

Tanjiro then decided to visit him himself and with the help of several Kakushis’ help, he reached the Swordsmith village. Then we got some details about the village and why it is so important that it is kept hidden from even demon slayers. Tanjiro was very excited and visited the village chief but he got the news that Haganezuka is missing and a search is going on to find him. Tanjiro was asked to stay in the village until he gets found. Then we saw Love Hashira Mitsuri was also in the village and she told Tanjiro about how she got ignored by someone but again got happy when he heard about dinner.

Then we saw Genya in the bath but he looked like he was in a bad mood. Then at dinner, Tanjiro and Mitsuri talked about Genya and went to his room to get him dinner but he was not there. We also got to know the reason why Mitsuri became a Hashira and it was because she wants a handsome husband. Then she praised Tanjiro and Nezuka and told Tanjiro that there is a secret weapon in the village that can make him stronger if he can find it. Then the next day, Tanjiro saw Mist Hashira Tokito Muichiro on the hill and there was also the person with the same earrings as him and he said that he knew him.

Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba Season 3 Story

The story will start from chapter 98 with Kibutsuji Muzan who serves as the leader of all demons having a meeting with all the upper moons as one of them has been killed. Akaza was summoned by Muzan in the second season and this also alerted all other upper moons that they will be gathering in a single place after a very long time period. We are going to see their characters and personalities for the first time in the series but fans are most excited to see the number one Upper moon Kokushibo.
