In the last chapter, we saw that Lucifero pinned Asta on the ground by using some magic spell. We saw some flashbacks from the past about Licita and Liebe. In those flashbacks, Licita talked about her child and why she had to abandon him.

She told Liebe that she is not a good mother. Now then in the present time, Lucifero tried to punch Asta but failed to do so. Lucifero remembered Licita and Liebe from the past.

Lucifero recognized Asta that he is the son of Licita and tried to attack him again but this time Asta cut him down in two halves. The main concern here is that Lucifero’s heart was not destroyed. Asta’s devil union form was over. The chapter ended with Asta and Liebe standing in front of Lucifero while he is on the ground.
