In the previous chapter, we saw that Yami was on the ground and his body’s color has changed. His body looked something like Asta’s in his devil transformation. Grey and Vanessa healed Yami. William gave a sword to Yami.

This sword has ‘World Tree Magic’ and its name is ‘The Blade of Misteltein’. Then from the present, we see Yami blocking a punch from Lucifero while saving Nacht. Nacht told Yami to stay back as he does not care even if he dies fighting Lucifero. Nacht also said that Nacht is not good enough to be saved.

He said that he took Morgan away from Yami and he does not want to endanger Yami’s life for the sake of his life. Yami called Nacht an idiot and says that one does not need a reason to save a friend. The chapter ended with Yami and Nacht getting ready to attack Lucifero.
