In the previous chapter, we saw that Yami was fired up after he dealt good damage to Lucifero as he was pretty confident in his strength. There are only two minutes left of Asta’s union mode.
Asta’s anti-magic power was overflowing from his body and that is why his body could not support the mana zone spell. Lucifero decided that he first will kill Asta and then go for Yami and others. Confident Yami tried to cut through Lucifero again but the attack did not work this time.
First Yami saved Asta and then Yuno saved Yami. Only one of Yami and Asta can defeat Lucifero and that is up to Yuno to decide. Yami has a broken arm while Asta has a broken leg. Yuno betted on Yami who will fight Lucifero using ‘William’s Sword’ in the upcoming chapter.
